The Pennsylvania Federal Bankruptcy system is divided into 3 Districts; Eastern District of PennsylvaniaMiddle District of Pennsylvania and Western District of Pennsylvania.  Each has specific Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Trustees assigned to administer bankruptcy filings.

The Eastern and Middle Districts are monitored by the United States Trustee’s Office – Region 3The United States Trustee’s Office is the Division of the United States Department of Justice tasked with enforcement of the United States Bankruptcy laws, procedures, protocols, and compliance.

Each District serves specific Pennsylvania Counties, that have a panel of trustees assigned to handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies filed within the district.
