  • Take a Credit Counseling Course
  • Prepare, Review, Sign and File Bankruptcy Petition, Schedules, Statements
  • Continue Paying Secured Debt if Plan to Keep Property (Home and Car)
  • Attend 341 Meeting of Creditors with the Trustee 30-45 days after filing 
  • Take Post Bankruptcy Financial Management Course
  • Receive Order of Debt Discharge (60 days after 341 Meeting of Creditors)
  • Have Peace of Mind, Reduction of Stress, and Begin rebuilding Your Credit

CHAPTER 13 Bankruptcy Process

  • Meet with Shane Weaver Law
  • Provide to Your Attorney Credit Report(s), Bills, Pay Stubs, Bank and Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Property Valuations
  • Take a Credit Counseling Course
  • Prepare, Review, Sign and File Bankruptcy Petition, Schedules, Statements, and Proposed CHAPTER 13 PLAN
  • Resume Paying Secured Debts (Home and Car) and Begin Payment Chapter 13 Plan Payments 30 days after filing
  • Attend 341 Meeting of Creditors with the Trustee 30 days after filing 
  • Amendment Schedules, Statements, and Chapter 13 Plan as instructed by the Trustee
  • Take Post Bankruptcy Financial Management Course
  • Attend Chapter 13 Plan Confirmation Hearing
  • Continue Chapter 13 Plan Payments for 60 months as well as stay current on all secured debts to receive a Discharge and Successful Case Closing
  • Have Peace of Mind, Reduction of Stress, and Begin rebuilding Your Credit
